About Mia Kruspe
Mia Kruspe, a senior at Lake Worth Christian School, is gaining attention for her role on the varsity baseball team as an outfielder and right-handed pitcher. A team member since seventh grade, she ended the 2024–25 season with a .259 batting average, a .512 on-base percentage, 13 runs, and 9 RBIs in 14 games, along with a .943 fielding percentage. Kruspe has competed in national showcases, including the MLB 2024 Girls Baseball Elite Development Invitational and the Breakthrough Series. She earned First Team All-District 2A-14 and Second Team All-County for Palm Beach County, and received the Inside the Diamond Shining Star Award from the Florida Minority Baseball Alliance. Off the field, Kruspe has been recognized for academic excellence with placements on the Principal’s Honor Roll, induction into the National Honor Society, and selection by the College Board’s National African American Recognition Program. She is also active in student government and community service.

The individuals close to me are my support system. These people I laugh, cry and grow with. My family keeps me accountable and encourages me to strive for growth in all areas of my life.

Even though everyone is different, a little respect goes a long way. Respect allows people to express their opinion even if someone doesn’t agree with it.
